Margaret started acting at 8 years old and fell in love with
the theatre. As a child, she would tape various actresses and
learn their monologues and recreate their accents and mannerism.
She absorbed books on acting and learned to create her own
character analysis for every part, large or small, she received.
She earned the Excellence in Acting award from her high school.
Since then she has performed in productions in NY and CT appearing
in both musicals and plays including Grease, Nuts, Oklahoma!,
Lend Me a Tenor, Once Upon a Mattress, I Hate Hamlet, Brighton
Beach Memoirs, and Steel Magnolias. She has directed children,
teens and adults for Brewster Theater Company and has conducted
various workshops throughout the area.
She shares her passion for acting with her students. She believes
in finding the truth in acting whether it is comedy or tragedy.
She hopes her students will gain self-confidence in their craft
by learning the basics through scene and character studies, theatre
etiquette, terminology and, the ever popular, theatre games.
