Kathy Fleurissaint
At the age of five, Kathy Fleurissaint knew she wanted to become an aspiring professional dancer. Working on her own craft, she took it upon herself to learn by the only means she knew how: music videos. Inspirations such as Missy Elliot's "Get Your Freak On," the late Aaliyah's "Rock The Boat," and Michael Jackson's "Thriller," empowered her desire to express passion through movement. She began her career at the age of fourteen, becoming a Dance Specialist for the Police Athletic League, creating shows, and choreographing pieces for age groups ranging from six to sixteen years old. From there, Kathy obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queensborough Community College and was also a Principal Dancer in the Hip Hop Dance Conservatory. Now, as a Professional Hip Hop Dancer, Kathy has obtained many accomplishments: Oil of Olay Advertisement, Comedy Central Commercial, and various showcases with upcoming artists. Be on the look out for Kathy Fleurissaint, because like a star, she will continue to outshine all signs of negativity and nature the pure essence of creativity in dance within herself and others.
