Victoria Chiera
Victoria Chiera graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance. She has sung major roles from the operatic repertoire that include the Mother in Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors, the title role of Puccini's Suor Angelica, and the Countess in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro. In 2007, she traveled to Rome, Italy to perform in two fully staged operas. In 2009, Victoria placed 2nd in the National Teachers Association of Singing competition. Victoria was a recipient of the Friends of Music Scholarship and the Opera Scholarship. She also teaches privately in her home of Brookfield, CT and is a voice and musical theatre instructor at the Seven Star School of Performing Arts. Victoria is devoted to nurturing young talent through positive and supportive teaching. Her goal as an instructor is to help each student achieve his or her most beautiful sound in the most natural way.
